My Training

My Training

I received my doctoral degree from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto California. My pre-doctoral training was at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco; my post-doctoral training was at Ann Martin Children’s Center in Piedmont. In both settings I worked extensively with adolescents, adults and couples.

After licensure I worked as a staff psychologist at St. Mary’s College Counseling Center in Moraga, California. For eight years I worked as an associate professor of clinical psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology in Alameda, California. In addition, I am an associate psychologist at the Addictions Institute in Menlo Park, where I’ve gained a great deal of experience with substance and behavioral addictions and how they affect individuals and family members.
